Pandemic culture has challenged the way we as a society are able to read emotions through facial expressions due to the requirement of wearing a face mask. Through this work, I demonstrate that even though we are required to wear masks, emotion can still be read quite clearly through the eyes. The series displays the facial expressions of Anger, Sadness, Disgust, Joy, Surprise, and Fear, as these emotions have been proven to be interpreted similarly across cultures.
